Kirsty Garland

I have recently graduated my degree in Animation Production at the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) with a 2:1 Honours . I was our course representative for the duration of my course, which meant a lot of responsibility through meetings, taking feedback from students and discussing it with tutors and also Student Union events and Open days.

I am personally aiming to specialise in sculpting, both in CG and physically, with an interest in creature design, and so have partaken in modelmaking and 2D creature design short courses.

 

I would love any opportunity to expand on any of my skills within Animation, however, and do through digital painting and traditional art and studies in my free time. 

 

Despite my film pitch not being chosen to be made last year, I am eventually planning on directing and making my own game or animated short film, as directing is a skill I'd love to learn.
